SEREMBAN: Police found an unmarked grave in the oil palm plantation area along Jalan Seremban-Mantin, near the Kajang–Seremban Highway, this morning.
It is believed to be that of a murder victim.
Police had taken several suspects to the location at 10am to assist in investigations into the murders of at least five victims that took place three years ago.
The suspects, who are believed to be gang members, were arrested in an operation conducted by the state Criminal Investigation Department and Bukit Aman police headquarters two weeks ago.
This follows the discovery of human bone fragments in two unmarked graves in a forested area near an abandoned temple in Batu 8, Jalan Sungai Gadut, Senawang, on Wednesday.
“Police went to the location to gather evidence that could be linked to the case. More investigations are underway,” said state police chief Datuk Noor Azam Jamaludin.
It is learnt that police are trying to identify other sites that could have been used to dispose of victims’ bodies and weapons.
