KUALA LUMPUR: A female fan of actress Nora Danish has been chided for making improper remarks about her son Ney Ney on Twitter.
The fan tweeted that two-month-old Ney Ney or Mohamed Neqayl Nedim did not share his parents' good looks, and was slammed by fellow Netizens, who told her to apologise to Nora and her husband Nedim Nazri.
"I don't mean to be disrespectful but why is Nora's son not cute? Look at the parents, they've got the looks. And I thought all babies are born cute," said the fan in her tweet on Saturday.
Netizens hit out at her, and one of them said: "What have Nora and Nedim done to deserve your remarks? And you aren't even a mother."
“I think many babies are ugly but I keep it to myself because I have the decency of a functional human being. But to put things into perspective I think you were ugly as a baby too - I mean look at you now," said another Netizen.
“Stop judging God's creation. Let's just hope that your kids won't turn out as ugly as you - as in your face and attitude."
The fan eventually erased her tweet and apologised to Nora and Nedim via Instagram.
“I wasn't thinking when I tweeted. Sorry to all Netizens whom I offended."
Ney Ney was born on Feb 21 in a private hospital in the city. His birth was announced by Nedim on Instagram.
Nora and Nedim, who were married on March 30 last year, also have a son each from their previous marriages - Putra Rayqal Ramli Rizal Ashram, 9, and Mohamed Nedrin, 6, respectively.
