KUALA LUMPUR: A hasty move by Datuk Hans Isaac's fiancèe Aileen Gabriella Robinson led his fans to deduce that the couple have called it quits.

This was brought on by 28-year-old Robinson, who had deleted all of her photos with Isaac, 45, from her Instagram account about a week ago.

Fuelling the rumour further was the postponement of the couple's wedding reception which was initially set for July 29 at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

In a press statement, Robinson explained that she had deleted Isaac's photos as she wanted to use her current Instagram account for only work-related purposes.

"I decided to create a new private account just for family and friends. I want to keep my private life and professional life separate," said the former model, adding that it was necessary that they remained separate entities.

A source close to the couple told the NST that Robinson was plainly unaware of the implication her action might bring when she took down the posts.

"She was shocked because she didn't expect it would result in such a huge misunderstanding.

"She just didn't realise that being engaged to a public figure, every little thing that she does is being scrutinised."

"Right now Hans doesn't want to get involved. He wants Gabby to deal with the matter herself so that she will be more sensitive of her actions in the future," added the source further.

Last June, the handsome couple had decided to postpone their wedding to another date to ensure the presence of Robinson's father and their family members.

Both are looking at a date some time next year.

Last January, Isaac popped the question to Robinson after about a year of courtship.

This wasn't the only hurdle in their relationship. Right after announcing their engagement on Feb 28, they were hit by an allegation made by Robinson's former boyfriend who claimed that she had been two-timing him with Isaac.
