Khloe joins her sister in Miami

SISTERS Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have a new series on E! After recent public break-ups, Kourtney and Khloe have decided to seek out a fresh start and go to sunny Florida where they will open a new Dash boutique.

Despite being away from their outrageous family for the first time, the sisters quickly find new drama, new relationships and a new social scene that they’re determined to take by storm.

Outspoken, unpredictable and highly entertaining Kourtney has a lot to say about the new show.

• How was the experience away from home, in Miami?

Kourtney: Miami was definitely a great experience. Khloe and I went there expecting one thing and then it turned into something totally different. We had a blast filming and just being in a different environment. You know, moving to a new city and opening our new store, making new friends. And filming without our family, just being her and I, was just really cool. We had so many great, crazy, single-girl experiences.

• What can we expect from the show?

Drama, drama, drama! They can see the trials and tribulation of opening up a store. The focus will be on us single girls so there will be lots of dating scene and wild activities. We are going to be doing brand new things and there won’t be a sense of déjà vu for the audience. Audience will also see how Scott and I make up after the nasty breakup with went through.

• Were there many arguments with your sister?

Definitely. Those arguments always happen, it is part of us and it is unavoidable. I got a bit frustrated at one point as I had to do almost everything on my own since Khloe was busy juggling hosting a talk show and other projects. But we got things under control at the end, I must say it was really fun and it was a major learning curve for the both of us.

• Who is a better businesswoman?

All of us shine in our own way but because I had a business which is the kids store before Dash, I have the most experience. I am the practical and independent one in the family. That’s also because I am the eldest and growing up in a big family has definitely made me a leader. So I must say that I am good at what I do it because of my family.

• What was your reaction when you found out that you are pregnant?

I was nervous. I was just really shocked and very anxious too. You think about every little detail, like I would think even up to when it goes to college, you know, about trying to make everything perfect. And then finally I was like, okay, one stop at a time! The baby isn’t even born yet — I don’t have to worry about college! But it’s just every little thing you want to make perfect.

• You are due in December, so your baby bump’s starting to really show now, does that mean you’ve had to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe?

I haven’t yet. I’ve just kind of been wearing my jeans and stuff — I just have to keep them unbuttoned and wear a big shirt. But I’m sure I’ll have to start shopping soon.

•Do you feel like you have adjusted to the idea of becoming a parent?

I do! I feel you’re never fully prepared until it happens, until the baby’s born. We talk about it all the time. It’s so fun and I feel it’s such a blessing. It’s also that everyone in the family’s really excited, too, because this is our first baby.

• Are you going to keep working after you have the baby?

I think so. We want to move our store Dash L.A. to a new location out in West Hollywood. And just keep expanding the brand. I definitely love to work and I want to keep doing so.

• Leisurely activities that you enjoy from time to time?

I enjoy my spa treatments. Khloe and I love dancing and when we get the chance, we’ll hit the UV Nightclub in the Fontainebleau while for a quiet night out I’d definitely suggest ll Gabbiana in downtown Miami. — Courtesy of E! Entertainment

• Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami premieres Nov 12 at 10.20pm on E! Entertainment.
